About This Spot
Stepping into Zgara Te Pazari feels like settling into a cherished corner of Tirana where the rhythm of the city slows just enough to savor each moment. Located at the bustling Sheshi Avni Rustemi, this barbecue restaurant hums quietly with a mix of local chatter and clinking glasses, offering a warm, unpretentious setting where conversations flow as naturally as the beer on tap.

It’s the kind of place where the staff’s genuine warmth gently invites you to unwind, while the welcoming atmosphere encourages you to watch the world go by without rush.
At its core, Zgara Te Pazari is a celebration of fire and tradition, where the grill speaks quietly but confidently. The air carries the subtle, mouthwatering scent of meats kissed by open flames, accompanied by simple sides and house-made sauces that lift each bite without overpowering it. Shared plates bring an easygoing sense of discovery—whether it’s a mixed grill presented with rustic flair, or a helping of fresh, crisp salad that balances the richly flavored meats.
There’s an honest, grounded quality to the dining experience here. Patrons often return not just for the food but for the feeling of company and conviviality at their table. It’s a place where late-night visits are welcomed and the casual yet attentive service makes you feel less like a guest and more part of a familiar story unfolding nightly in Tirana.
For those seeking a genuine taste of the city, Zgara Te Pazari offers more than just food—it provides a space to absorb local life, savor heartfelt culinary craft, and find small moments of joy in the kind of simple pleasures that linger long after the meal.

Great food and lovely staff! I had the best Fërgesë and chicken wings — both were delicious. The service was warm and friendly, and the place stays open late, which is a big plus. Definitely worth a visit!

One important tip for travelers: everything they bring to your table has a price. So when they ask, “Bread? Salad? Water?” make sure you actually want it, because you’ll be charged for it. Now, that aside... the food was absolutely delicious! We ordered a mixed grill for two, and it was fantastic. The flavors were rich and perfectly cooked. Truly a great place to enjoy local grilled dishes. Don’t miss it! and we hope this little tip helps you enjoy your meal even more!

We had dinner here one night when in Tirana. The food was excellent as was the service. Really friendly service. The salad was outstanding. Great atmosphere plenty of places to sit inside and out. We really enjoyed our visit and highly recommend.

A place frequented by locals but has the tastiest grilled food in Tirana. We found it by accident and so much better than the tourist traps we were advised to go to. Waiter spoke really good English and food cooked to order. It's a place to watch the world go by and you will be lucky to get a table. It's number 1 and the only place we visited twice.

Delicious food! A very nice restaurant. The waiters create a great atmosphere and enjoy their work. The prices are very fair. I was in Tirana for a few days and ate there often because the food is so delicious. I highly recommend it.

The staff was polite and friendly, the food tasted great and was affordable. All the tables were occupied when we arrived but that wasn't a problem apparently as two guys emerged from the inside carrying a table for us to be able to sit outside. Menu is in english and they also speak solid English. Great way to experience the Albanian cousine and hospitality amongst the locals

Outstanding! Wanted to go to this place for ages but it’s always super busy. Can understand why, great setting on the front, indoors or out. Lovely ambience. Great, quick service with hot, fresh succulent meats. Very reasonable prices too considering this is a popular area. Highly recommended!
